Catholic High Science Camp Features Magic, Adventures, Secrets, and More

Baltimore, Maryland - The Catholic High School of Baltimore is hosting its annual Science Sampler summer camp to show middle schoolers just how much fun science can be! The camp will take place June 26-29, from 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM. Rising 6th to 8th grade girls are invited to attend and have some fun while actively participating in scientific experiments and explorations.

Each day of the week will feature its own exciting science theme. Campers will learn about potions, powders and polymers through a science magic demo show, as well as work with magic sand, pop rockets and slime. The next day students get a chance to play the role of a spy by experimenting with dissolving paper and invisible ink testing. Crime science follows with a day full of fingerprinting and blood spatter labs. Finally, the camp will conclude with environmental science day where students will perform an owl pellet dissection and frog autopsy!

Campers will stay busy with hands on activities while learning about each science discipline. The cost for admission is $200, which includes a t-shirt and lunch on the last day.
