Admissions Visits & Events

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Catholic High community is currently working and learning remotely, but we would be happy to walk you through our virtual tour and answer any questions you might have! Please watch the virtual tour video below. Previous Events

8th Grade Shadow Days: Shadow Days are available for 8th Grade students September through December and by appointment (please call the Enrollment Office at 410-732-6200 ext.213). Please bring the Emergency Form, signed by a parent/guardian, with you on the day of your visit.

7th Grade Shadow Days: Shadow Days for 7th Grade students are available on select days in the spring. Please bring the Emergency Form, signed by a parent/guardian, with you on the day of your visit.

Fine Arts Day: Join us on a Saturday in the spring from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. for a Fine Arts Day workshop to experience the visual and performing arts at Catholic High. There is a $25 participation fee required.

STEM & Biomed Day: STEM Day allows participants to experience all that both our Biomedical Program and our STEM Program have to offer! Students attending this event can participate in hands-on Biomedical workshops, as well as STEM workshops in our brand new state-of-the-art STEM/Robotics Lab.

Visual & Performing Arts Information Night: Visual and Performing Arts Information Night is an opportunity for middle school girls and their families to learn more about what The McCafferty Visual and Perfoming Arts program has to offer in the areas of choir, visual art, theatre, and instrumental music (band and orchestra).Tour the arts wing and hear from teachers, current students and parents. Come and see how you can further your skills and fulfill your creative passions at Catholic High!

High School Placement Test (HSPT): All students applying to a Catholic high school in the Archdiocese of Baltimore are required to take the HSPT during their 8th-grade year. We invite you to take the HSPT at Catholic High. A continental breakfast is provided. Each 8th-grade student is required to take the HSPT in December of her eighth-grade year. Catholic High uses the test for our placement and scholarship selections. This event is open to girls in grade 8 only.
