Dance Concentration

Introducing our new Dance Concentration!

The Catholic High School of Baltimore is pleased to announce the creation of our new Dance Concentration in the Visual & Performing Arts Program starting this fall! With the creation of this new concentration, Catholic High will be under construction this summer to build our first-ever Dance Studio!

The college preparatory Dance concentration is intended for students with an intermediate/advanced background in Dance. This credited curriculum is designed for artistically motivated students to train in classical dance styles such as ballet/pointe, modern, and jazz, combined with a strong, comprehensive academic program. The dance courses offered will provide development of strong classical dance techniques.

In order to be a part of the Dance concentration in the Visual & Performing Arts Program, students must audition for acceptance (limited spaces available). Dancers accepted into the Dance concentration are required to meet, on average, three days a week after school for rigorous technical instruction.

Stayed tuned for additional information about our new Dance concentration under the Visual and Performing Arts Program!
