VPA Dance Concentration
The Catholic High School of Baltimore's Visual and Performing Arts Department is proud to announce the addition of the Catholic High Dance Company! Students are now able to audition for Dance, a new concentration within the VPA Program. This credited curriculum is designed for artistically motivated students to train in classical dance styles such as ballet/pointe, modern, and jazz, combined with a strong, comprehensive academic program.

Audition and Application Information
Dancers who would like to be considered for the Dance Company must submit an audition registration form. Dancers must also perform in a live audition or submit a video audition. Please see below for the link to the audition registration form and audition requirements.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the time commitment?
- Dancers take one class per year, at graduated levels of difficulty, the last of which is a Capstone.
- Technical instruction is held at a minimum of two days per week after school.
Are there any extra costs involved?
Dancers are responsible for purchasing required company apparel and shoes.
